PSA of the day, buy local. ;-) Today we drove out to a local farm to pick up some of our groceries for the week. It was a little bit of a drive, but beautiful! I picked up a book on CD for the kids to listen to, so the drive was pleasant. The time was well spent. What a great way to get some classics into your day. Then we walked around and played with some of the animals before heading back home. Big thanks to Sheri and Bill for letting the kids run and stretch their legs!!! (and for letting me bring my camera) Here are some of my favorite snapshots from the morning.
So CUTE! Look at this little baby goat.
Did you know how playful goats could be? I didn't. I grew up around cows, dogs, cats, the occasional horse, and tons of chickens. Not goats.
Momma goat
Whoops! Beware electric fences.
LOOK! One of my kids actually stopped for a second and looked at me. ;-) Ok, so the lighting isn't great and she's squinting. Sometimes you take what you can get and you love it.
It was a really fun day. Hope you love the pics! This was my first time using 100% manual for snapshots and actually getting 90% of the shots in focus and with great exposure. My kids are fast, so that means something to me.
loved the pics chelle. you did great! and i agree, local is best! we love picking up goodies at the farm and we feel so good about it!
