Nature is her classroom

This is the start of a new blog for Aislinn and I. We'll be journaling our homeschooling adventures for all the world to see.
Here she is. My first baby. She is intense, particular, drama-defined. She is caring, captivating, and full of life. She is intelligent.



I couldn't possibly explain all of our reasons as to why we have started her education at home, as opposed to pulic/private school. But here are a few.

1. I love her so much. I just can't imagine sending her away from me for 8 hours a day. Sending her into the care of someone whom I have no control over, someone that I really don't even know.
2. We want her to have a great adventure in education. An education without the boundaries of a classroom shared with 20+ other students and 1 teacher. An education that we can take with us anywhere we are.
3. We want her to have a Christ-based education, a Bible-based education.
